General Usage Policies

Business or Commercial Use
Any commercial use requires purchasing a license. Commercial use means using the images to sell, promote, endorse, or advertise a product, business, or service intended to generate profit. This applies whether the income generation is direct (selling) or indirect (marketing, advertising). Whether you are a business, a hobbyist, or a charitable entity, if the image contributes to income generation in any way, it qualifies as commercial use.
Our images can be licensed for commercial and business use directly through the “Purchase a License” process by clicking on the BUY NOW or ADD TO CART button displayed alongside each image in our photography store.
- High-Resolution Files: Every image is available in its original, highest-quality resolution. The exact size of each image is clearly displayed in inches and pixels.
- Comprehensive License: We offer a single all-inclusive license that covers nearly every type of usage scenario, commercial, editorial, digital, print, advertising, corporate, etc. This license is priced at $499 per image.
- Multiple Image Orders or Custom Licensing: If you are interested in purchasing multiple images or require a rights-managed contract tailored to a specific image or project, please feel free to reach out with your project details. We will evaluate your needs and determine if a custom licensing option is available.
Personal Use
Our photography and images is not free for personal use. Taking or using our photos without permission is theft and constitutes copyright infringement. If you wish to use any of our photos for personal use, you must purchase a license.
Any personal use (e.g., blogs, web pages, social media accounts, offline use) requires a formal licensing agreement. The price is the same as commercial use.
Non-Profit Use
Registered non-profit organizations may be eligible for discounted rates, depending on the context of use. However, non-profit use is not free. Organizations must request permission first. If approved, we will offer a special discounted price. This applies only to registered non-profits.
Educational Use
Students, teachers, and researchers require a license agreement similar to commercial and personal use. If you wish to use our photos in a classroom setting without uploading it online, you must contact us for prior permission.
Fair use does not grant unrestricted rights to use copyrighted materials. Since our photography is a copyrighted artwork available for licensing, any unauthorized use deprives us of potential license fees. Contact us with specific details about your intended educational use, and we will assess permission requests individually.
Social Media Use
Using our photography and images on social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) is treated the same as commercial or personal use and requires a valid license agreement. We do not allow our images to be shared on social media without permission or a valid license. Unauthorized sharing of our work damages our business and encourages further infringement.
How to Download and Purchase Images from Boxist.com
To download clean, unwatermarked, high-resolution image files for your personal, educational, or commercial use, please follow these simple steps:
- Click on the “Purchase a License” or the BUY NOW / ADD TO CART button located next to the desired image.
- The selected image will be added to your shopping cart. You may continue browsing and adding more images as needed.
- Once your selection is complete, click the Shopping Cart button to review your items.
- You will be prompted to provide basic information about how and where the image(s) will be used. This helps us keep a detailed and transparent record of all licensed image usage.
- Click “Continue to Checkout” to proceed.
- On the checkout page, enter your email address, then click the Checkout button to proceed to our secure payment gateway.
- You can choose from a variety of payment options, including: PayPal balance, All major international credit cards and Debit card.
- All payments are processed through PayPal, one of the world’s most trusted online payment platforms. You do not need a PayPal account to complete your payment. PayPal also offers a guest checkout option that allows you to pay directly using your credit or debit card.
Once your payment is successfully completed:
- You will receive an email confirmation of your order. This email will include a secure download link to access your purchased image(s).
- The confirmation email will be sent to the email address you used during checkout. Please double-check that your email is entered correctly to avoid delivery issues.
- If you don’t see the confirmation email in your inbox, check your Spam or Junk folder.
- Registered members can access all orders, downloads and invoices directly from the members’ area.

At Boxist.com, none of our images are free, everything is copyrighted intellectual property, protected under U.S. and international copyright laws.
Our images are registered with the United States Copyright Office, providing a formal Federal Copyright Registration. While copyright protection is automatic the moment an original work is created, federal registration offers significant additional legal advantages, including the right to pursue statutory damages and attorney’s fees in U.S. federal court.
Copyright protection is serious. Any unauthorized use of our images is considered copyright infringement, whether intentional or not.
- Innocent Infringement may result in damages up to $30,000 per image.
- Willful Infringement can lead to statutory damages of up to $150,000 per image, plus court costs and legal fees.

Any unauthorized use of my images (regardless of whether it was accidental or deliberate) is a violation of my rights and will be addressed seriously. Infringement may result in legal action, monetary damages, and significant financial consequences, including lawsuits, legal fees, and, in rare cases, criminal charges.
License Before You Use: All of my photography work is my exclusive intellectual property. I offer my images for licensing under clearly defined License Agreements. No images may be used without a valid license or written permission.
I reserve the right to pursue unauthorized users of my work and seek full legal remedies for any violations. Copyright enforcement is carried out in collaboration with our Legal Recovery Partners and international attorneys, with whom I have partnered specifically to protect my photography business.
