How long do I have to wait to get an answer from Support?
It may really depend on the time-zone differences and the current volume of requests, however, our response time does not take longer than 1 business day. And in most cases, you will get a response in a matter of hours, sometimes even minutes.
Who is the owner of the photos here ?
We are the exclusive owners, all of the stock photos, calligraphy, graphics designs, content is made, photographed, designed and created by us.
Is this site mainly about images that are used for commercial purposes?
Yes, Boxist.com is primarily focused on stock images that are licensed for commercial use, once the license fee is paid, the photos may be used many times without paying additional fees, When you license our images, you can use it in nearly any application, for as long as you like, according to the license agreement (although some kinds of uses do require an extended or enhanced license). The cost is often based on the image size, the terms of permitted use, and as well as other factors.
How much the images cost?

Once I buy an image, can I use it as often I want?
Our images can be used as often you want, You only pay for the image one time and the image is licensed to be used in multiple projects (with the Standard , Extended, and the Enhanced License), But there is a print limit for each license, take a look at our Compare Licenses page.
What are the payment options?
You can choose to pay by Credit Card, Debit card or with your PayPal account if you have one, Our payment gateway is handled by one of the most established online merchant in the world “PayPal”, a well-known, trusted, and secure way to make payments over the Internet. Making a payment to us through PayPal is easy and secure. You can use your existing PayPal account or pay by any of the major credit cards (including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and Diner’s Club), When making a payment you are temporarily transferred from our site to the secure PayPal web site. We do not store your credit card details, nor are they accessible to our staff at any point.

How to buy photos and license, and what’s the prices?
Our stock photos is available for instant download, the images here is available in standard web resolution for preview purposes only, Once any purchase order is placed successfully the download link will be sent immediately, customers can access orders and downloads through their accounts at Boxist.com, prices all of our photos is available with different sizes, prices, and licenses, the prices and images sizes details is listed for each photo next the sample preview photo.
Do I have to create an account if I want to buy your photos?
No need to Create an Account and to be a member to buy our photos, You can always purchase and checkout quickly as a guest without creating an account, But registered members will have the advantage of the features and benefits that make shopping easier and more personalized. faster checkout, personalized offers and discounts, favorites lists, order history, images downloads and more.
Can I get an invoice or quotation for my order?
All prices are available on the site. If required, we can arrange for a quote. As for invoice, an online invoice is generated when you make an order, it’s available with the order download link when make a purchase, and if you are registered member it’s available on “My Account”, Alternatively, we can also email a PDF file upon request.
I am not able to access or make purchases, why?
There are three possibilities. Either your computer is behind a corporate firewall, or that it may not be accepting cookies, or Paypal is blocked in your country for some security reason. Please contact your web or network administrator for more information.
Can I pay with check or by cash?
Unfortunately do not accept cash or check as payment, For an online business, it just doesn’t make sense because customers can be from any place on the globe and you need a simple system that works and works quickly., check processing time is unwieldy for online businesses, electronic transactions are safer and more economical and require less effort to deposit, you can pay by any credit or debit card or by paypal account (trusted, and secure way to make payments over the Internet).
Do you offer Discounts or Coupons?

Do you offer Refunds?
Due to the nature of digital photography and the fact that photographs, once sent, cannot be returned; Boxist.com has a strict NO REFUND policy on all digital files. Once a transaction has been completed it is considered to be non-refundable. The reason for this policy is because we offer full access to the entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for our products to be returned, We recommend you carefully preview the items to be ordered by you and the choices made by you before ordering.
How to download the photos of my order?
After checking out and a successful payment you will be emailed a link to download your digital photos, This email with the order download link will be sent to the same email you have used with the payment process, Please ensure that you used the correct e-mail address to purchase the order, If you used the correct e-mail but did not receive the e-mail with the order download link, please first check the Spam/Junk folder in your e-mail, if you are a registered member then you can access all of your orders and downloads in the members area, for any issues or any problems please contact the support team, We are available and We answer all emails as soon as possible.
I bought a license for a photo, Where is the download area?
After purchasing an image and once your order is placed successfully, an order confirmation email with the download link will be sent to your email address, also after the payment is completed your browser will be redirected to the order page with a direct link to download the photo(s) that you just licensed and purchased if the order is approved. If you are a registered member and you need to download the images, you can find it available in your Purchase and Orders History via the members area.
I bought an image but I can’t download it?
Please try to download your photo again via the Download link email, or though “Orders and Downloads” page if you are a registered member, Download links stay active for 7 days after the initial purchase with 5 Download Attempts, If the download link has expired, please contact customer support.
What is the format for your photos files?
All the photos and illustrations from our collections are delivered in JPEG format files, We want to give you the highest resolution at the minimum file size!
Does the image I download have a watermark on it?
Our images is clean without any watermarks, If there is any images with small watermark on it then you are allowed to crop it and remove it if you want to, If you are unable to do it, hit us through the contact page, We are available and we answer all emails within less than one business day.
Can I use the preview image?
No, OUR IMAGES ARE NOT FREE TO USE and may not be used without license under any circumstances, our images may not be reproduced, displayed, transmitted, distributed, modified, altered or otherwise exploited in any manner without license purchase and our prior written consent, We reserve the right to pursue unauthorized users and to seek damages for copyright violations.
What type of license should I buy?
The type of license you need depends on how you want to use our content, We are offering different types of licenses of our stock photos: (Standard, Extended, and Enhanced License – Click here to Compare All Licenses). Every stock photo purchased from Boxist.com comes with a Standard license. An Extended or Enhanced license gives the user additional benefits in exchange for an additional license fee. take a look and see the terms and conditions, you should read them before you start using our pictures.
What is the Standard License?
This is the most common license that we offer for our customers, you get nearly unlimited use, You can use the image in virtually any application, for as long as you like, in as many different projects as you like, The Standard License allows you to use the images for personal, educational, and commercial use for up to 100,000 copies. However, if you intend to use the image for more publications or for an unlimited number of copies then you would need an Extended or Enhanced License, you can take a look at our Standard License terms and condition page for more information and details.
What is the Extended License?
The Extended License gives an additional benefits for how you can work and use our stock photos, With the Extended License you can use the images in unlimited number of projects (commercial, personal, educational, and etc.) and in any media up to 500,000 copies, you can take a look at our Extended License terms and condition page for more information and details.
What is the Enhanced License?
The Enhanced License is our premium license that we can offer to our customers, This License is a special license for any large commercial, personal, or educational publication of more than 500,000+ printed copies in advertising, marketing, promotional materials, newspapers, magazines or books, product packaging, advertising campaign with more than more than 500,000 gross impressions, With the Enhanced License you can use our stock photos in unlimited number of projects and in any media. Can I use a stock photo I have already purchased with a license under the name for a client?
The rights and the license granted to you are non-transferable and non-sublicensable, meaning that you cannot transfer or sublicense our image(s) to anyone else. you are not allowed to give permission, lend, or resell any of our stock photos that you’ve downloaded. However there are one exception which is if you have purchased our image(s) on behalf of your employer or client, then your employer or client can use the content; So what this means is that the buyer holds the license for themselves and can use it in their projects or for a client projects, but designers must purchase a separate license (or have their client buy the image) in order to use it for a separate project.
I want to use your photos in my commercial work?
We have created this site so we can give you the best photos, calligraphy, and designs so you can use them in your personal, educational, and commercial work, Our License terms and conditions is flexible and very easy and with it you can use our photos in many commercial uses, contact the support team if you have any questions.
Can I purchase images on behalf of my client?
Yes, you can purchase an image on behalf of a client. However, please note that if you want to use the same image for different clients, the image must be licensed separately for each client use.
Can I print your photos on posters or in greeting cards, and etc. and sell them?

Can I use your photos in eBooks or printed books?
Yes you can use any of our stock photos in eBooks or printed books or book covers, the Standard license is limited up to 100,000 copies, The Extended License is up to 500,000 copies, and the Enhanced License comes with unlimited number of copies, (This restriction does not apply to electronic reproduction.)
I am an artist, Can I reproduce your photographs in my artwork?
Yes you can use our photos in your artwork and paintings under our Standard License, if your artwork is for commercial re-sale then you will need to buy our (Extended or the Enhanced License).
Can I use your images on social networks?
Please also note that use of our images on social networks is possible only: If the size is less than 1000 x 1000 pixels If the copyright information appears on the image itself.
If I modify an image, can I claim copyright to that image?
You may modify an image and use it under our license terms, however, you may not claim copyright to that image. Boxist.com continue to own all images, whether or not they have been modified.
Can I alter your images with graphics programs and use it or print it?
Yes you can, as long the license terms and conditions is complied, then you can work with my images in any graphics way.
Can I use the photos in a website templates?
If you purchase the Extended license or the Enhanced license then you can use our stock photos in your website templates as long attribution is given and only if the images is for preview purposes, You are not allowed to sell your templates along with our stock photos (You may NOT distribute the photos with the license to your clients), and if you are going to use the photos in a website template online where users can access and download the photos, there are extra several usage conditions you must be aware of, You must include a credit clickable link to Boxist.com in the template such as: “Photos Courtesy of Boxist.com” or similar statement, so your clients can know where the photos from, Please make sure not to keep the original high resolution files saved inside the templates and use only smaller sizes to fits in your designs.
Can I use photos in a wallpapers site, app, publication, or images collection website?
No you can’t, You may NOT share the photos in wallpapers, backgrounds, or any stock photos sites.
Can I use images that I download in work-for-hire?
Yes. After you purchase the image(s) You can use it for a customer/client project. Please indicate to your client that they do not own and do not have the rights to sell the individual images.
How do you deal with Copyright Infringements?
When this happens, whether it is deliberate or accidental, it is Copyright Infringement which we call an “unauthorized use”, We have a number of tools for pursuing unauthorized uses, all of which are aimed at ensuring that the images is properly licensed, and our copyright is protected and the license is paid to for the use of our images, We take copyright violation very seriously and We will aggressively search for, and will find violators of our copyrights, If any of our images are used without complying with our terms and conditions then we will take all necessary legal actions.
What are the penalties for illegally using a photo with no license?
We will take all necessary legal actions against any copyright infringement, and we will protect our intellectual property, This is serious and should be taken serious.
Can you give me a legal advice for my commercial project?
We can’t give you any legal advice on how you should use some of the photos that might contains trademarks, artwork, paintings, people, or any other copyrighted items, And if you are using these pictures commercially you really should double check and make sure that everything is Ok, You should assume no model release was obtained, some pictures might be featuring products or private property should be used with care. Some of the images here feature members of the public, you can always ask us about any specific picture that you might have questions about and we will provide you with all information we have about it.
Using photographs of identifiable people?
We respect the intellectual property of others, and so should you. Please don’t misuse images of others that you find here. Clearly we can’t grant you the right to use images of people without their permission. Fair use is good, but so is privacy and accountability. No model release was obtained, for photos that has identifiable people on it, We cannot guarantee that you will be able to use the Image for any purpose you like. We do not represent or make warranties whatsoever as to the legality or validity of it. Furthermore, certain Images may be subject to additional copyrights, people, property rights, trademarks, logos etc. and may require the consent of a third party or the license of these rights. Boxist.com does not represent or make any warranties that it owns or licenses any of the mentioned, nor does it grant them. It’s your sole responsibility to make sure that You have all the necessary rights, consents and licenses for the use of the Image.
What is the copyright laws on old artworks or paintings?
Museums often do not hold the copyrights to the works they display, if a work is older than 70 years after the death of its creator the work itself has no copyright, Only the copyright holder would have any legal rights and if those rights have expired, its fair use. If you personally take a photo of the public domain work of art, then you can use the photo however you want, If someone else takes a photo of the public domain work of art, they own the copyright. You must get permission to reproduce the third-party photo. This gives power to museums which do not permit the public to photograph their collection. Example: Da Vinci Monalisa, However, just because the underlying work is “old” and not copyrighted does not mean you can take anyone else’s copy and use it! Each “new” copy of the Mona Lisa painting could have “creative” differences that merit separate protection. For example, you can’t copyright the Grand Canyon, but everyone who takes a picture of it owns the copyright of that picture.
How do I search for photos?
There are three ways to search for content on Boxist.com, 1- Enter keywords in the search box at the top of each page and click “Search”, 2- Browse our main categories and galleries, 3- Refine your search request with keywords and colors filters.
How often you update and upload new photos?
New photos are updated and added on Daily to Weekly bases, We add new photos all the time, you can subscribe to our RSS feed for new updates or you can visit our Newest Photos page.
I am getting confused with DPI and what print shops asking from me?
