Unlike many other stock photo websites and photography platforms, we provide a single license that encompasses virtually all our clients’ needs.
Our images are truly unique and exclusive. You won’t find them anywhere else. We take pride in offering stunning, one-of-a-kind visuals for your websites, designs, and projects. When you choose our images, you’re choosing the exceptional and the beautiful.
What sets us apart is that we offer our images in their original size. There are no limitations like “small,” “medium,” or “large.” Every image is available at the highest resolution possible, and they are all priced the same. COMPREHENSIVE ALL-INCLUSIVE LICENSE DETAILS
You acknowledge that all Content is copyrighted and owned by Sam Mugraby / Boxist.com (Stock Photography). Unauthorized use of this Content may be an infringement of such copyright. Upon the purchase of a license and receipt of payment, these Terms and Conditions establish a legally binding agreement between you and Boxist.com. This agreement grants you a nonexclusive, nontransferable license to utilize, modify, publish, display, and distribute the Content in accordance with the Terms and Conditions outlined herein.
You agree to access, acquire, and use the Photos under the following Terms and Conditions of this License:
You may, subject to the Terms and Conditions of this Agreement, access and acquire the Content via Boxist.com and use the acquired Content for the following purposes:
In Print and Editorial Materials:
- Books or book covers
- CD and DVD covers
- Editorial content
- Printed magazines, newspapers, editorials, newsletters
For Commercial or Advertisement Purposes:
- Magazines and newspapers (online or printed)
- Advertisements in newspapers, magazines, or other printed materials
- Websites, blogs, and digital advertisements
- Online or electronic publications or uses, including web pages
- Printed promotional projects, including product packaging, catalogs, brochures, promotional greeting cards, with unlimited printed copies.
- Promotional postcards and posters
- Prints and designs, stationery items, and other reproductions for personal or business use
- Film and video presentations
- Commercial films, motion pictures, movies, or theatrical presentations
Multimedia Productions:
Incorporation into film, video, television series, advertisements, or other multimedia productions for distribution in any medium now known or hereafter devised (each a “Production“), without regard to audience size, provided the budget for any such Production does not exceed USD $100,000. For budgets exceeding this amount, you will need to contact us.
Television and Film Productions:
Design elements (props & scenery) in television broadcasts, short films, and full-length film productions
Items for Resale:
- Prints, posters, calendars, mugs, mousepads, t-shirts, games, etc. (You must provide link credit as follows: “©Boxist.com”). If you are unable to provide link credit, please contact us for details.
- Electronic templates for resale on websites, brochures, business cards, e-greeting cards, etc. (You must provide link credit as follows: “©Boxist.com”). If you are unable to provide link credit, please contact us for details.
Additional Uses:
- As part of marketing, advertising, or promotional materials, including print ads, mailers, handouts, and packaging
- As part of an “Out-of-Home” advertising campaign.
- As a digital advertisement (banners online or printed, etc.)
- As design elements in software applications for resale (mobile apps, programs, and applications)
- As design templates for resale (software, applications & web distribution). You must provide link credit as follows: “©Boxist.com”
- As a screen saver (corporate or personal use only)
- As a part of your business or entity’s corporate identity documents, letterhead, office decor, lobby, public area, restaurant, or retail store
- In PowerPoint presentations and similar uses
- In electronic distribution (not in its original but in its final form) or items for personal use or resale, including design elements or constituents in eBooks, licensed software, website templates, and document templates, provided such use is not intended to allow the re-distribution or re-sale of the Content by another party.
Editorial Publications:
If the Content is to be used in an editorial publication such as magazines, newspapers, textbooks, eBooks, printed material, online or multimedia CDs, (Boxist.com) grants you a nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute the Content up to 500,000 copies aggregate (for quantities above this amount, please contact us). You may not reproduce the content more than 500,000 times in physical print form. This restriction does not apply to electronic reproduction.
Social Networks: Please note that the use of our photos on social networks is possible only if the size is less than 1000 x 1000 pixels and if the copyright information appears on the image itself.”
You may NOT: In adherence to this licensing agreement, there are several key restrictions and prohibitions (referred to as “You may NOT” conditions) that must be observed. These conditions pertain to various aspects of content usage, distribution, and limitations. Please carefully review and follow these guidelines to ensure compliance with our licensing terms. Failure to do so may result in a breach of the agreement.
Distribution Restrictions:
- You are prohibited from distributing the Content, whether in electronic or hard copy form, unless it is explicitly authorized under the terms specified above. This includes sharing, selling, or distributing the Content to third parties without proper authorization.
Sub-Licensing and Copyright Restrictions:
- Sub-licensing or transferring the rights to the photos is strictly prohibited. You are also not allowed to claim copyright or trademark rights over the images.
- No Use in Trademark or Logo. Unless you purchase a custom license with a special agreement, you are prohibited from using the content (in whole or in part) as the distinctive or distinguishing feature of a trademark, design mark, trade name, business name, service mark, or logo. Furthermore, you shall not have the right to register (in any jurisdiction) such content (in whole or in part) as a trademark or rely on any such registrations, prior use, and/or accrued goodwill to prevent any third-party use of the content or any similar content, including our customers, or us, the copyright owner of such content.
No False Representation of Authorship:
- You are not allowed to falsely represent that you are the original creator of an end use that is primarily composed of licensed content. For example, you cannot create a work (e.g., a painting) solely based on licensed content and claim authorship of the entire work.
No “On-Demand” Third Party Resale Products:
- You are not permitted to use the content in “on-demand” resale products. This includes products where the photo is selected by a third party for customization on a made-to-order basis. Examples of such products include, but are not limited to, postcards, mugs, t-shirts, posters, and other items. This restriction also applies to the sale of products through custom-designed websites.
Unlawful Use Prohibited:
- Any use of the Content for unlawful purposes is strictly forbidden. This includes using the Content in a manner that violates local, national, or international laws and regulations.
Standalone File Use Prohibited:
- You are not permitted to use the Content in a way that allows others to download, extract, or redistribute it as a standalone file. This means the Content should always be part of a larger project or end-use context.
Competition and Distribution Restrictions:
- Using the Content in a manner that competes with our business or service is prohibited. This includes activities such as running a stock photography or content provider business, distributing the Content in collections (e.g., CDs, DVDs, software), or printing and distributing the Content for free use.
- Using the Content in desktop wallpapers websites, themes, backgrounds or any other media websites that offer “Free” images or could potentially facilitate their unauthorized use.
Third-Party Authorization Prohibited:
- You are not authorized to grant any third party the right to use the Content for any purpose. This includes reselling, sublicensing, or making the Content available for use or distribution separately from a product or website.
Sensitive Use Disclaimer Required:
- When using Content featuring models or property in connection with potentially unflattering or controversial subjects (e.g., sexually transmitted diseases), you must include a disclaimer indicating that the Content is for illustrative purposes only, and any persons depicted are models.
Content Sharing Restrictions:
- Sharing original Content files for download across networks, on CDs, or through any other means is not allowed. Additionally, you may not share or sell the photos as desktop wallpapers, backgrounds, or on stock photo sites.
Prohibited Uses:
- Usage of the Content for pornographic, sexually explicit sites, unlawful activities, promoting hate, discrimination, defamation, or victimizing individuals, religions, societies, or cultures is strictly forbidden. Additionally, use related to gangsters, terrorists, or similar antisocial forces is prohibited.
Editorial Use Limitation:
- Editorial Use photos cannot be used for Commercial use or Advertorial use, which includes sections or supplements featuring brand or product names, or when receiving compensation from third-party advisors or sponsors.
